Top of my list of things to talk about is probably prints. I contacted the stock people whose stuff I've been using and they gave me the go ahead on dA print submission, so I have my Prestige Typography series and all the prompts I've done so far up for sale. Woo! Still waiting to hear back from =bashcorpo about my V For Vendetta typography thing, but it's no huge rush or anything.
Art!
Been getting a bunch of stuff done, traditional and digital. I still don't have a scanner, but I'm sort of working on converting some of my older drawings to digital, so we'll see how that goes. Lately, I've been [trying] to work a bit more with color, though my little grayscale brain screams in agony every time I do. It's an adventure at the very least.
Typography!
Prompts- I've already checked off War, Freedom, and Love. I have "Stars" on the back burner until I can think of something that doesn't involve Les Miserables. Any other prompt suggestions would be wonderful, as I'm having a few issues coming up with them on my own[unless it's 4 AM and I'm sleep deprived].
Batman- Working on ~Tar-Aziraphale's suggestion, Gary Oldman's end monologue from TDK.
Shakespeare- Tossing around the idea of starting up a Shakespearean-based Typography series. Let me know what you think/what I should do first, because I haven't started yet.
Drawing!
Just A Moment- Eh heh. It took me three tries to round-out Lily a little and draw in Severus, but I'm having a few minor issues with lighting[damned colors!] and expressions. For some reason I can't draw anything except mannequinesque expressions on people. Do any of my watchers draw realism very often and have any tips? It would be very much appreciated.
Secret Garden- Ignore this, I was just messing around with my tablet in the middle of the night.
Sneakygoblinpainting- WIP that has yet to be named or posted. Once I get the base layer down I might stick it in my scraps or something.
dA!
deviantWEAR Design 2009- I refuse to look at it again until next week, so for right now it's the finished product. For some reason it's not showing up in the browsing when I clickity the "view submissions" thing, though, and that's a bit troubling. All of the other entries are looking positively fabulous, though. I look forward to seeing how everything turns out.
Non-art-related-
I might be getting a year subscription in the near future, depending on how money issues pan out. I've been vying to work with the HTML features, glaring in envy at everyone else's souped-up journals. So that's cool
And I think that's about it.
